Blue Bayou restaurant gave me the blues

On our last trip to Disneyland a month ago we decided to splurge and have dinner at The Blue Bayou. The menu looked good and we were trying to eat on the healthy side.
We were lucky and were able to get in without too much of a wait. The actual restaurant is great. It's very charming and you feel like you have been transported to the south. We weren't able to get a table very close to the actual water. It was close to the kitchen and that affected how much we enjoyed the meal.
If we could have just sat and had a cup of coffee, maybe we would have had a good time. Unfortunately we ate the food and had to deal with a waiter.
It was my seven-year-old's birthday and she was wearing the pin that identified her as a birthday kid. Everywhere we went that day, someone wished her a happy birthday...but not at the Blue Bayou.
I ordered the salmon and it was inedible. Cooked to the consistency of a piece of cardboard. The portion was tiny. Not that I wanted to eat it anyway but it was minuscule. The only thing I managed to eat was a few dinner rolls I had to ask for and the vegetables on the side. My husband ordered the chicken and didn't eat his either. My daughter didn't eat her dinner either.
The waiter couldn't have cared less that we were unhappy. He was stomping around and ignoring our attempts to get his attention. The bill was in the area of $90.
All I could think of was the table of ten next to us pushing their food around their plates and not speaking up about how bad it was and having to pay what, $500+ for such a lousy dinner.
Never again.
