"We took the kids to Triple Play family fun center and it's indoor water park 'raptor reef' which was about 10 minutes past downtown CDA and located in Hayden. A blast was had by all and the 3 water slides there are pretty amazing (although the yellow one scared the heck out of me and I only went on it once...the other two were a TON of fun.
"We also walked around CDA a bit...cute town...lots of neat homes in the area and very much a touristy town...although it was quiet when we were there and some of the seasonal places werent open yet." - a WorldMark Owner
Downtown
"We stayed in Mid March - it was a skiing trip. The resort is a 45 minute drive to Silver Mt (Alpine skiing) a 90 minute drive to Schweitzer (Alpine and Nordic) and 20 minutes to 4th of July Pass (Nordic groomed).
"Both Schwietzer and Silver offer great skiing for beginner through expert and both have very good teaching areas. I would recommend Silver as a place to learn to ski. I would pick Schwietzer as a more complete destination resort for all levels of skiers and riders except first timers.
"Silver has NO high speed lifts - a real downer. Schweitzer has truly spectacular views of three states, Lake Pend O'reille and Canada. Its great black and double black tree sking is worth the drive.
"Silver offers a 22 minute long gondola ride from the town of Kellogg to the ski area. It is the only way to get there and is part of the lift ticket price. On the plus side - it beats driving multiple switchbacks up and down a mountain both in time and money. On the down side it does mean you have to remember everything you may want for the day and pack it in a bag to lug up the mountain in the Gondola." - Stephen, a WorldMark Owner
Try Idaho's only theme park, Silverwood. Located at 27843 N Highway 95 in Athol ID, it's a 35-mile drive north from the Coeur d Alene timeshare rental.
"The park was started out simply as a main street attraction that featured a very popular train ride on a historic engine that the owner of the park obtained when he outbid the Disney Corporation. Over the years the park has made the most of the 600+ acres it owns, and has currently developed over 200 acres to include 65 rides and attractions. The park offers something for everyone from the youngest riders to the more seasoned thrill seekers." - Gareth M.
Silverwood
Most of its rides are similar to what you would find at a larger carnival, but better. The best ride there is their wooden roller coaster, the Timber Terror. Yes, it's a short ride, but worth the wait.
Their water park, Boulder Beach, seems to be more popular than the rest of the park. Try renting an inner tube instead of using the free ones; this will get you through the lines faster.
Boulder Beach has two wave pools, tall slides, tube slides, and more. Buy yourself a drink (yes, they sell alcohol) and float down the lazy river of Elkhorn Creek.
While you're not allowed to bring food into the park, you can bring a cooler of food and leave it in your truck since they do allow in-and-outs.
Another tip: Stop at CostCo first, you can buy your Silverwood tickets at a discounted price.

The WorldMark Arrow Point has its own restaurant, Eddies.
"The food at Eddies was very good and reasonably priced. They were closed on Tuesdays and had an all you can eat pasta feed on Thursday. That was the only thing available on Thursday though." - a WorldMark Owner
There's another amazing restaurant, Wolf Lodge, just down the road.
"You can't stay at Arrow Point and not have a steak dinner at Wolf Lodge. It's on the highway frontage road just outside the turn off onto the resort road. All the meat is cooked over an open fire pit using tamarack and cherry wood. I didn't muster the courage but "The Rancher" is a 44 oz porterhouse/sirloin steak. The Moose Drool beer on tap was a nice surprise too." - a WorldMark Owner

The Coeur d Alene timeshare rental, Worldmark Arrow Point, has a number of amenities to make your vacation more enjoyable:
"They have small gifts and movie rentals available there (and I think a few board games) for those interested." - a WorldMark Owner
Far larger and friendlier than a hotel, getting a Coeur d Alene timeshare rental is like having your own apartment right on Lake Coeur d Alene.
This is a rural area where you can come unwind in the natural splendor of northern Idaho. If you're looking for fast action, loud music, and lots of lights, this is not the vacation for you (though I do have three Vegas timeshare rentals that may interest you).
However, if you're like me and want to truly get away from it all and just gaze out on a peaceful blue lake as the delicious-smelling breeze drifts by, then this is your place.
I attended school in northern Idaho -- at the University of Idaho -- and there is no place where I feel more delightfully detached from our crazy modern world.
Lake Coeur d Alene Pier
"My wife and I recently returned from five nights at Arrow Point. We had a fabulous time. The units were very nice. They are larger than we have found at any other WM resort. The master bedroom was very large and had a huge dressing area with a triple doored closet with mirrors and a large double vanity.
"The kitchen area was also roomy with all of the expected appliances, as well as a trash compacter.
"The views of the lake and the scenery in general were fabulous. Even our view from the covered parking area was great. The marina is all new and very large. We didn't have a boat there so I don't know their policies. They have a very nice swimming area in the lake with a beach in front of the newly remodeled restaurant, Eddies.
"The staff was very helpful.
"It's about a twenty minute drive to CDA, but the drive is beatiful. In town we had good meals at Tito Macaroni's and the Iron Horse Grill.
"You can get a water taxi from the resort across the lake to CDA for dinner in the evenings. Also a lake tour boat can pick you up at the resort if you notify the office in advance.
The Floating Green
"We took a float plane tour of the lake from CDA and it was fantastic. It shows you the resort early in the trip and then follows the entire length of the lake and finishes by flying over the floating green at the golf course as you return to the city.
"The Coeur d Alene timeshare rental is a little remote, but we found that to be a real asset. It is a perfect place in summer to relax and take in the beauty. I don't think this resort could be topped if you were traveling with a boat. They say it is even more quiet in the winter, but I imagine it would even be beautiful then.
"CDA had tons of great shops to browse. They also have a farmers market on Wed. afternoons that had great berries and produce, as well as art work. We look forward to returning!" -John, a WorldMark Owner
The Worldmark Arrow Point Pool
A word of warning when driving to the Coeur d Alene timeshare rental: time your arrival BEFORE sunset. It is a dark, winding journey that is beautiful during the day, but perhaps a little scary at night.
What to do if you find yourself in the dark? Keep an eye out for two to three red lights on your left-hand side. That's the Fire Department. The long driveway to the Coeur d Alene timeshare rental is right across the street.
If you are arriving during the daylight hours (and I hope you are), you'll know that you're almost there when you see the Smokey the Bear sign.
Also be sure to look out for deer.
"Last year and again this year my family is off to Arrow Point. This is one of the best resorts we have stayed at. It is about an hour from two of the best snow skiing in the NW. Silver Mountain is our favorite place to ski/ snowboard and has a great kids program. This has become our families new home away from home at Christmas time. Everything you ever wanted in a resort and what you come to expect from WorldMark. " - A WorldMark Owner

"I loved this resort...tiled countertops, nice little restaurant, indoor pool, small beach, water-shuttle service to golf and to a few restaurants (fee for most stops...free for golf at CDA)." - a WorldMark Owner
Your Worldmark Arrow Point Living Room
Inside your unit you'll find all the little comforts of home, including:
"The rooms are the best we have ever stayed in. We were definetly impressed. We stayed in a 3 bedroom. The rooms were large & spotless, most of the rooms were done in white, ceramic tile, furniture and I think light carpeting. It just felt like a 5 star luxury suite. We will be going back. Far from most everything." - A WorldMark Owner
The Worldmark Arrow Point Terrace
The balconey had flagstone flooring, an outdoor table, and seating for 4 (we pulled out extra kitchen chairs when needed) and an electric grill." - a WorldMark Owner
The Coeur d Alene timeshare rental, Worldmark Arrow Point, has many different unit sizes to accommodate most parties. If you have an large party, consider renting multiple units.
"Our family (2 adults, 4 children) stayed 2 nights over President's weekend in a 2bd. We were very impressed with how spacious the rooms were. Very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful. We booked a 3 bd the second night, only because of availability. When we asked if we could just stay in our 2 bd instead of moving, they arranged it no problems." - a WorldMark Owner

The unit had all the expected appliances from washer/dryer to oven& stovetop, large fridge & freezer, toaster& coffee maker...along with spices (regular salt&pepper shakers, galic powder, and 4 or 5 other spices), dish detergent, laundry detergent and hairdryers in the bathrooms." - a WorldMark Owner
Lake Coeur d Alene
"I bought a book for my wife for Christmas called "1000 Places to see before you die". This is a complation of beautiful places ALL OVER THE WORLD. Lake Coeur d Alene was one of only 10 or so places in the entire NW that was listed. We stayed at Arrow Point December 26th, while on a trip to Schweitzer. It was beautiful, quiet and serene. There were DOZENS of Bald Eagles wintering near the resort. (Squaw Bay and Beauty Bay) What an amazing creature!" - Perro Grande, a WorldMark Owner
