My Visit to Corn Dog Heaven at Disneyland

My family and I always make sure to visit a specific corn dog food cart when we visit Disneyland.

When you first walk into the park in Anaheim, CA, you walk down Main Street. As you approach Tomorrowland, there is a restaurant that hosts character breakfasts. Prior to reaching that restaurant and before finding Tomorrowland, there is a small alcove that is home to a Corn Dog stand, a popcorn stand, and an infant nursing station.

The corn dog stand is my favorite food stand in the park. Corn dogs may be standard fair, but these corn dogs are special. They are wrapped in an unusually crispy cornmeal batter with a delicious, sweet inside taste. When paired with the salty hotdog, they send me back to a corn dog induced heaven I haven’t experienced since childhood (or since my last visit to Disneyland).

Expect to wait in a long line to purchase a corn dog at this red wagon corn dog stand. The wait, and the expense of nearly six dollars for a corn dog and a side of chips, will be well worth it when you dip the crunchy, sweet, salty dog in mustard while enjoying “the Happiest Place on Earth.”
