The Blue Bayou is the Best Restaurant at Disneyland
by Kris
(Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. USA)
Out of all the restaurants I've tried at Disneyland, The Blue Bayou offers the best "real" food, and the best dining environment.
The Blue Bayou is like a stand-alone restaurant that you wouldn't expect to find inside an amusement park.
It has elegance, delicious menu items, and makes you feel like you've escaped the crazy, fast paced, amusement park crowds if only for a little while.
The Blue Bayou is pricey, and really not a great place to bring very young children or babies, as it has a peaceful feel to it, soft lights, and makes you feel like you are truly dining on a "bayou", as the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean float by.
It's a great place to go if you're at Disneyland with a date, your spouse, with friends or for families with well-mannered children.
I look forward to the food at The Blue Bayou, as the choices are similar to a fine dining restaurant instead of a burger joint, or a lower class, buffet style restaurant.
The menu offers a range of choices, from chicken to beef, pasta to salads.
I always make it a point to eat at The Blue Bayou when I visit Disneyland, as it offers a quiet, peaceful break from the hectic pace of the day.
